Since I did such a ... lets just call it unorganized ... job of explaining Bitcoin a few weeks ago, I prepared a better presentation here:
In brief: What Bitcoin is, what they actually are, how it works, a bit about hashing (SHA-256), how one acquires bitcoin, and what is the point of it all. <grin> OBTW, the computer club will accept bitcoin for your annual dues. (Which may be the only way we'll get some!)
