Cleaning Crapware from your PC
Received another good example of a PC over run with 'crapware'. This computer had 11 different "Speed up my PC" programs installed - those programs that claim to fix your PC with a free download, install and scan. Of course, after finding X number of problems ('X' is often in the thousands!) they want money, sometime lots of money.
"ShouldIRemoveIt?" identified 16 red and 41 yellow-rated programs all of which were killed (uninstalled.) And there were another 47 programs that I uninstalled after reading the descriptions. (How the h* did the Ask Toolbar rate 'green'?) Recommended: http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/index.aspx
